FILME OPHT-R contributes in the reduction of biofilm, keeping the physiological microbiota of the ocular mucosa in good condition.

FILME OPHT-R is a sterile liquid, consisting of tocopherol acetate (vitamin E), which forms a lasting protective film, persistent and homogeneous, aiding in the restoration of the normal moisture balance of the ocular surface in subjects feeling a burning, stinging sensation or ocular fatigue, (not of the pathological type) induced by external factors such as prolong use of computers, video games, television, dry atmosphere, air conditioners, smoke, dust, windy surroundings (sea or mountains), swimming pools or at the beach. FILME OPHT-R contributes in the reduction of biofilm, keeping the physiological microbiota of the ocular mucosa in good condition.

Tocopherol acetate 470 mg.

Individuals already assessed hypersensitivity to this product.

Not to be injected, no to be swallowed. If you experience blurred vision after use refrain from driving or the use of machinery.

Allow a minimum of 5 minutes to pass between the application of a different ocular product. If you combine other ocular products, FILME OPHT-R should be put in last. There are no known interactions with other medicine or ocular products.

DOSAGE: 1 drop, once a day in the evening before bed. If individual circumstances require, use up to 2-3 times a day.

  1. Break-off the single vial by pulling it toward you
  2. Twist and rotate the cap delicately till the vial opens
  3. A drop is released slowly from the vial due to its viscosity. Keep the base of the vial squeezed untill a small drop shows (leave the drop to remain at the tip of the vial)
  4. Gently pull your lower eyelid down and look up
  5. Place the tip of the drop inside the inner corner of the lower eyelid. In this way the adequate amount of FILME OPHT-R can be installed (a small drop is sufficient)
  6. Reclose the vial after use

Topical use. FOR OCULAR INSTILLATION.
STERILE BY FILTRATION. Wash hand thoroughly before applying the product.

The evening instillations is usually sufficient for a good hydration of the ocular surface up to the following evening.
Can be reapplied 1-2 times during the course of the day, if required. As the product is oily, it is adviced that you use FILME OPHT-R at least 30 minutes before applying contact lenses. After the instillation, close and open eyes to help distribute the preparation on the ocular surface. Smooth in any excess product remaining on your lashes with your finger. Instill in one or both eyes, as required or according to the recommendation of your specialist.

Although FILME OPHT-R is extremely tolerable, in some rare cases it may cause a stinging effect, irritation, ocular allergy or reddening.
If this occurs, discontinue use and consult a doctor.

DO NOT USE AFTER THE INDICATED EXPIRY DATE ON THE VIAL OR ON THE BOX.

The product can be stored, up to 7 days after opening the vial. Do not use after 7 days once opened.
After use make sure you use its recloseable lid to close.

The shelf life of the unopened product is valid 60 months.
