Liceko® can be used either for periodic checks of the hair or when checking to detect infestation and presence of nits or lice and to treat once established.

Hypersensitivity to any of the components in the product.

Do not inject or ingest. Not to be used in case of known allergy or sensitivity to any of the ingredients. Keep out of reach of children. Use only as directed. Avoid spraying in eyes. Pressurized container: May burst if heated. Do not pierce or burn, even after use. Protect from sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50°C/122°F. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. No smoking. Do not spray on a naked flame or any incandescent material.    
Liceko may be used during pregnancy and whilst breastfeeding.

There are no known interactions with other medicines or hair products.

HOW TO PROCEED WHEN CHECKING TO DETECT INFESTATION

To verify the presence of nits or lice

1. Perform the following actions in a well lit area.
   First of all, comb hair with a normal comb or brush to get rid of any knots or tangles.
   
      
2. Spray Liceko on dry hair (using it to work as a conditioner) apply sufficient amount to allow the fine tooth comb to glide easily through the hair. Part hair into sections and divide each section into smaller partings.
   
      
3. Proceed methodically examining each lock at a time and then pin back the hair already checked. Carefully insert the “fine tooth comb” (included in the box) with the Liceko logo facing down over the entire length of the hair from root to tip.
   Paying special attention to areas behind the ear and nape of the neck where lice and eggs (nits) can be found.
   If lice or nits are found, go to the next paragraph for immediate treatment.
   If there is no infestation found go directly to section 3 and 4 of the next paragraph. Before moving on to check another person and at the end of each examination wash the Liceko "fine tooth comb" with soap and warm water using the aid of a nail brush to clean through the fine teeth on the comb.

HOW TO TREAT PEDICULOSIS

1.  Spray Liceko
   Spray Liceko throughout the hair until it becomes wet, pay special attention to the nape of the neck and behind the ear. Head lice usually live close to the scalp, but as they are able to move, it is advised to cover the entire surface of the hair, from roots to tip. Massage hair and scalp to make sure that your hair is completely covered and saturated with the product.
   Leave on the hair for at least for 20 minutes.
   The amount of product needed for each treatment varies depending on the length of the hair. The quantity of the contents contained in the packaging is sufficient for one treatment (if hair is long) or upto six treatments (if hair is short), considering that a certain amount will be used as a conditioner to check for the presence of lice or nits.
   
   • Long hair mid back thick and curly: 73 ml (circa 73 grams)
   • Long hair mid back which is not thick or curly: 36 ml (circa 36 grams)
   • Long straight shoulder length hair: 31 ml (circa 31 grams)
   • Pageboy or bob: 21 – 26 ml (circa 21 - 26 grams)
   • Short hair: 16 – 21 ml (circa 16 – 21 grams)
   
   N.B.: to assess whether you have applied the quantity indicated, we recommend that you weigh the can with kitchen scales before and after application.
   The difference in grams corresponds to the amount applied.
   It is important to note that hair must be completely saturated for optimum result.
   Liceko is a spray which allows uniform distribution of the entire amount discharged, making it convenient and practical. It allows rapid and orderly application, which is valuable especially in cases where children become impatient during prolonged treatment.
   
   
      
2. Remove lice and nits
   Divide hair into sections and each section into smaller partings. Proceed methodically examining each lock at a time and then pin back the hair already checked.
   Carefully insert the “fine tooth comb” (included in the box) with the liceko logo facing down over the entire length of the hair from root to tip.
   After combing each section, wipe off with a tissue every nit and louse found on the Liceko “fine tooth comb”.
   After use wash the Liceko “fine tooth comb” with soap and warm water using a nail brush to clean through the fine teeth on the comb.
   
   
      
3.  Wash your hair
   It is recommended to use VEA Shampoo to remove Liceko effectively from the hair, leaving hair soft and shiny. Wash hair as normal. It is not necessary to use a conditioner after treatment.
   
   
      
4. Dry your hair as normal
   
   
      
5. Repeat treatment from section 1 to section 4 after 7 days
   This is highly recommended because all the lice are killed in 20 minutes, but there could still be eggs which were not removed by the “fine tooth comb”.
   Any remaining nits will hatch within 7 days and new head lice will not have time to lay any eggs (sexual maturity is reached in 8-10 days) and will be killed off with the new treatment.

Liceko should be used in case of lice infestation or when there are fears that one might be infested. Lice cannot develop resistance to the product, therefore can be used again and again in case of reinfestation. Liceko will always act with the same powerful effect against lice.

Although Liceko is extremely tolerable, in some rare cases a burning sensation, irritation, redness may occur. If this happens discontinue use of the product and consult your doctor
